US Reveals Cost of War with Iran

The Inspector General of the U.S. Department of War revealed that the cost of the war with Iran had reached around $33.4 billion as of June 30.

He noted that Operation “Epic Fury” caused shortages in ammunition stockpiles, in addition to bottlenecks in supply chains, placing additional pressure on U.S. logistical and military capabilities.

According to the report, the U.S. Department of War is working to accelerate ammunition procurement procedures and shorten production lead times in an effort to bolster stockpiles and address the effects of shortages resulting from military operations.
